A large family collecting razor clams on the beach here in Skerries, Ireland (this was just some of them). It was an unusually warm evening for this time of year and the atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly, I had to record it
beautiful shot !! I like how you phrase it "a large family collecting razor clams (this was just some of them)" its sounds sort of national geographic - like a herd of humans grazing by the water front
lol it was pretty much like that, we saw them from the window and were like "wtf is going on? must be some sort of food gathering season or something....let's go see!" It went on all last week, loads of people out there, buckets in hand, and faces of panic as they ran to the car with their future meals. It's totally disgusting but I respect it in a way.
lol well if I loved seafood and lived by the beach I'd be getting me some free food, recession or not I mean it's fresher than anything they could get in a store or restaurant, and I'm sure they're all local. If you want free grub you've got to be friends with John, he's always feeding me.
